Nokia Aeon Pictures

http://www.ubergizmo.com/photos/2008/5/nokia-aeon-live.jpg Nokia recently gave a glimpse of Nokia Aeon Concept Phone in the R&D section of the company’s website.
The Aeon concept phone is developed by Nokia’s research and development team and is one of the most futuristic mobile phones seen so far.

The most outstanding design feature of Nokia Aeon is the touchscreen that stretches over the full surface area of the phone. The touchscreen feature is similar to BenQ-Siemens’s Black box concept phone.
Nokia Aeon is seen in black, green and blue colors.
There is no word on when Aeon concept phone will be officially released to the public.
Nokia's research and development team have kicked it up a gear with an attractive "aeon" concept phone showing up in the R&D section of the company's website. The most prominent design feature of aeon is a touchscreen that stretches over the full surface area of the phone, similar to BenQ-Siemens's Black box concept phone we saw recently. Currently mobile technology isn't quite up to realizing this fantasy, but we'll sleep better tonight knowing that at least one of the cellphone industry's biggest names shares the same dream as we do -- BenQ's dream didn't count, unfortunately.
The Nokia Aeon has a similar design to the Synaptics Onyx. The concept phone will feature a full surface touch screen display that replaces the traditional keypad. Its unique design gives this concept phone an extremely sleek and sexy look. Nokia should use some perfected material that doesn’t leave fingerprints on Aeon’s touch screen display; otherwise, you will probably spend half your time wiping it. Two more pictures after the jump!
